Terms of Service
The agreement for using GetLocalised: accounts, your content, store connections, plans, credits and our responsibilities.
Last updated 1 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and GetLocalised ("we", "us") for your use of GetLocalised (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you use the Service for an organisation, you accept them on its behalf and confirm you're authorised to.
1. The Service
GetLocalised helps you research markets, write localized store listings, design and localize screenshots, and publish them to app stores you connect. Some features use AI models to draft content. Features, limits and prices are described on our website and in the app, and may change as the Service develops.
2. Accounts and workspaces
- You sign in with Google or GitHub. Keep that account secure; you're responsible for activity under it.
- Work happens in workspaces. The workspace owner controls who is invited and what role they have, and is responsible for the people they invite.
- You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service.
3. Your content
- You keep all rights to what you bring and create: listings, images, screenshots, brand material and anything else ("Your Content").
- You give us a limited licence to host, process, transform and transmit Your Content only to run the Service for you: for example, to generate a translation, render a screenshot, or publish a listing you approve.
- You're responsible for having the rights to Your Content and for what you publish. Don't upload content that infringes others' rights or breaks the law or store policies.
4. Store connections and publishing
- When you connect a store account (for example a Google Play service account), you authorise us to act on it within the permissions you grant, and only for the Service's purpose: reading listings and, if you turn publishing on, updating listing text, images and videos.
- Store credentials are kept in an isolated, encrypted vault and are never shown back to you or to other users.
- Nothing is published to a store unless you publish it, or a workspace owner or admin sets an automation policy that publishes on your behalf. You're responsible for what's published through your account and for complying with each store's policies.
- Stores can reject or remove listings. We're not responsible for store decisions.
5. AI-generated content
GetLocalised is an independent product. Some features use third-party AI models (from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google, or a provider you choose). We're not affiliated with or endorsed by those providers, and their names belong to them.
AI drafts can be wrong, incomplete or unsuitable for a market. Review everything before you approve or publish it. You're responsible for the content you publish, including its accuracy and any claims it makes.
AI image features are for app store creative: screenshots, backgrounds and graphics for your app. Prompts for image generation are screened before any image is made, and prompts that break our Acceptable Use Policy are refused.
6. Plans, credits and billing
- The Service has a free plan and paid plans. Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until cancelled.
- Credits pay for metered actions such as AI runs and publishing. Credits have no cash value, can't be transferred or exchanged, and are only usable in the Service. Credits spent on an action that fails are returned automatically.
- Payments are processed by our payment provider, Dodo Payments or Creem, which acts as the merchant of record and handles payment, invoicing and tax. Your payment details go to that provider, not to us.
- Refunds follow our Refund Policy.
- We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next renewal.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service. Our Acceptable Use Policy is part of these terms. In particular, don't:
- generate, upload or publish sexual, sexually suggestive, explicit (NSFW) or pornographic content, or content that sexualises minors in any way;
- generate violent, hateful, harassing or otherwise harmful content, or images of real people without their consent (including face swaps and deepfakes);
- break the law, a store's policies, or anyone's rights;
- try to get around plan limits, credits or security controls, or access other workspaces;
- probe, scan or load-test the Service without our written permission;
- use the Service to build a competing product by copying its features or content;
- resell or sublicense the Service except as an agency serving your own clients in workspaces you manage.
We may suspend or close accounts that do, and remove content that breaks these terms.
8. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including the app stores, AI model providers, hosting and payment providers. Their terms apply to your use of them. If you use your own AI provider key, your use of that provider is between you and them.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available and your data safe, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features. If we discontinue the Service, we'll give reasonable notice and a way to export Your Content.
10. Ending your use
You can stop using the Service and delete your workspaces at any time. Deleting a workspace deletes its content from the Service; it doesn't change anything already published to a store. We may end these terms if you materially breach them.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent the law allows:
- the Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or that results (downloads, rankings, revenue) will improve;
- we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or lost profits, revenue or data;
- our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited by agreement.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is material we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after that means you accept the updated terms.
13. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the operator is registered. Questions: [email protected].
